How white will my teeth become?
The results are spectacular. Clinical studies have shown that the Zoom teeth whitening treatment achieves up to 12 shades lighter with the average being 8 shades. Individual results may vary and will depend upon your age, type of stain, initial tooth color and any visible restorations (White fillings, crowns etc). When you arrive, we will do examine your teeth and we will show you what is possible on a tooth shade guide.
Your teeth will always be lighter than they were before. To keep your teeth looking their best, we recommend flossing, brushing twice daily and use of take-home whitening gel and custom made teeth whitening trays once or twice per year. These are professional formula products designed specifically to keep your teeth their brightest. They are available only through your dental professional. Six monthly general cleans and checkups are also recommended to remove any resistant surface stains and to keep your teeth and gums healthy for life.
Is Zoom teeth whitening safe ?

The Zoom light activated gel was developed after years of research by Discus Dental / USA, the leaders in professional tooth whitening. The gel is a proprietary scientifically formulated, pH balanced Hydrogen Peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom! light, gently penetrates the teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration. The Zoom! light aids in activating the Hydrogen Peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. As the Hydrogen Peroxide gel is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel. Similar to any conventional veneers, the teeth, the facial profile and the occlusion of the teeth (the way teeth come together and more over each other) have to be clinically assessed. Based on this assessment, veneers are chosen from a list of appropriate designs. This is followed by modeling trial smiles incorporated with the chosen design and the model of teeth in wax. At this stage, if tooth removal/preparation is needed, there shall be an assessment and recommendation provided to you.
Once selection is done, a mould of your teeth will be taken and then sent away to our ceramists to build a set of veneers according to your exact specifications. When your veneers are ready, you can return to the clinic to have them permanently cemented in place, using very strong resin cements.
